| Mauro Meltable Soy Candles are hand poured in my Erie, PA kitchen. Each candle is created individually. We choose soy because of its longer burn, great scent throw and clean burn. Other candles will leave soot behind, but not our soy. Mauro Meltables are available in a variety of strong scents. After years of burning costly paraffin candles I found a lot of soot left behind. When moving out of my first apartment - I found soot marks left behind on everything. When I took pictures off the wall there were outlines left. I used to clean my screen on my TV to find a black wash rag when I was done. That's when I decided that I had to look into a healthier form of candles. I love to fill my house full of scent but I don't want black lungs for my family! If you have never tried soy candles please give them a try and I think you will find yourself hooked. Not every soy candle is 100% so please be educated. If you truly have a 100% soy candle you should be able to dip your finger in the wax pool and rub the melted wax right into your skin - that is the true test. Other candles may have a slight amount of paraffin or lower cost waxes blended in. Mauro Meltables are 100% soy and as a candles lover I only sell candles that have a strong scent throw - otherwise what are they good for!
